Cancellation penalties |
If a villa host cancels a confirmed booking within 45 days of the guest’s scheduled check-in date, the host will be required to find a suitable replacement villa of equal or higher quality for the guest at no additional cost. If the host is unable to provide a suitable replacement villa for the guest within the specified time frame, a fine equal to 10% of the gross booking value will be assessed to the host. This fine is designed to compensate the guest for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation and to help cover the costs incurred by the OTA. In the event of a host-initiated cancellation, the guest is entitled to a 100% refund of any payments made for the booking. |

Since the group travellers are a substantial type of guest, the guests need to understand the bedroom sleeping arrangements to ensure the villa will work for the group. Failing to provide adequate information on bed configurations results in guests moving on from a listing without asking questions. Thorough descriptions and amenity lists are also helpful in maximizing conversion rates. |
